Fight Strategy for Hungerfen and Ghaz’an in the Underbog in World of Warcraft

The Underbog is the second instances in Coilfang Reservoir. It has four bosses, total. Here is the strategy to beat the first and second boss.

Hungarfen

The first boss is Hungarfen. He has two abilities, and they involve bog mushrooms. One spawns a mushroom that does 360 damage every two seconds and can stack up to five times. You must move out of this when it spawns. The second one is Foul Spores, which is an AOE poison cloud that does 400-600 poison damage every second. It also heals Hungarfen for four times that amount.

The trick to this fight is to have the tank move him out of the mushrooms until 20%, then move away during Foul Spores. Hungerfen will not move so he will not be able to heal himself. If you stay in the spore cloud he will heal himself and make it very hard to kill him.
Then, the tank can agro him when the spell is over.

Ghaz’an

The second boss in slave pens is Ghaz’an. This fight is simple if done right. He has three abilities to watch out for. His Acid Spit does 2000 nature damage to those in front of him. His Acid Breath stacks up to five times and does 2000 nature damage and 155 additional damage over five seconds. His Tail Swipe does a knock back and inflicts damage.

Have the tank aggro the hydra and drag him down the ramp. The tank should hold him against the wall because Ghaz’an’s knockback can throw the tank off the platform and into the water below. This will result in a raid wipe. The raid’s DPS should either stand back down the hall, out of melee range, or do melee while standing at his belly to avoid the tail swipe. The Herbalist Guide To Gold Farming In World Of Warcraft

When you’re looking at a World of Warcraft Gold Guide, you will typically find a few methods highlighted. And surely Herbalism will be one of these methods. All three major gathering methods are good ways to gold farm, but Herbalism is definitely the best. However, herbalism can be a hard profession to master because of the complete randomness of node locations and the sheer number of them out there. Which ones should you be searching for and where are they located?

What Herbs Are Best to Harvest

Any decent WoW gold guide will give you basic advice for making money through herbalism. They’re helpful and accurate as far as they go, but if you’re smart and well-informed, you can do even better. Lower-level herb nodes are no way to make a fortune, but fortunately, they are easy to find, despite random spawning. Low level herbal nodes are also easy to access and usually not surrounded by large groups of mobs, making them easy to work with.

Things get more interesting when you’re talking about higher level herbal nodes. They are incredibly random in spawning to start with and they tend to be hard to get at when someone else is already in the area. When you reach upper levels and start looking for black lotuses, dreamfoil, or ghost mushrooms. These important herbs are hard to find, but they’re what you should be harvesting as, when you do get them, they are quite valuable.

What Are the Best Spots to Harvest

There are not necessarily any specific zones where harvesting is best for herbs. Early on, your searches will take place in Stranglethorn Vale and Westfall, but after you level up some, you’ll be searching zones like Un’Goro Crater and the Plaguelands looking for rare spawns. Things become a little more clear cut when you reach the Outland. This is because at higher levels, you can harvest some of the mobs in addition to the herb nodes! The Bog Lords and plant mobs in Zangarmarsh and Terokkar Forest are great sources of rare drops, including Unidentified Plant Parts (a reputation item), motes of Life, and a variety of of sought-after herbs. Most WoW gold guides skimp on information about opportunities like this, but if you were to farm Bog Lords for an hour, you would almost certainly generate at least 75-100 gold, especially if you gather the various mushroom spawns in the area that are used for Sporeggar reputation.

Herbalism is an interesting profession with multiple possibilities. There’s a good reason why World of Warcraft gold guides typically recommend that you choose Mining and Herbalism as your primary professions. They’re both good ways to make money, and they complement each other. In some zones (Nagrand for example), you can find both mineral and herbal nodes to harvest in your travels. This greatly increases your gold making potential as a result.

So now you have some good basic advice. But remember that the World of Warcraft is ever-changing. If you want the most current information on gold farming, whether by herbalism, mining, or any other method, you need a guide that’s always current, and written by experts in the field of gold farming.
